Senate votes to cut off funds to ACORN

he Senate voted Monday to block the Housing and Urban Development Department from giving grants to ACORN, a community organization under fire in several voter-registration fraud cases. The 83-7 vote would deny housing and community grant funding to ACORN, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. The action came as the group is suffering from bad publicity after a duo of conservative activists.
Kudos to Glenn Beck and other Conservative radio Talk shows.
And lets not forget that that ACORN helped Diaper-head Al Franken "beat" Coleman in Minnesota.
Well, it's only a start but a good start. . One small victory in a conflict that will continue without letup for the next 3+ years. Take your energy pills, guys, and keep up the pressure

Creeps manage to weasel their ways into every organization MV. Enjoy your small triumph now because that's as good as you can look forward to. The memory of President Bush will be our ace in the hole for years.

I don't trust this move. Chicago-style politicians don't give up that easily.
